Complex Trauma & Childhood Wounds
Many of the clients I work with have experienced chronic stress, difficult family dynamics, emotional neglect, attachment wounds, or other experiences that continue to impact their lives long after the events themselves have passed.
Complex trauma often affects self-worth, relationships, emotional regulation, boundaries, and a person's sense of identity. Together, we can explore these patterns with compassion while building greater safety, resilience, and self-understanding.
Nervous System Regulation
When the nervous system has been overwhelmed for a long period of time, people often find themselves living in survival mode.
You may notice symptoms such as chronic anxiety, emotional overwhelm, shutdown, people-pleasing, hypervigilance, difficulty relaxing, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
Therapy can help you better understand your nervous system and develop practical tools to create greater balance, regulation, and a sense of safety.
Neurodivergence
I enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, Autism, and other forms of neurodivergence.
Many neurodivergent adults have spent years feeling misunderstood, masking their needs, or wondering why certain things seem more difficult for them than for others. Therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself, explore your strengths, develop accommodations that work for your life, and reduce shame around differences.
My approach is affirming, strengths-based, and focused on helping clients build a life that works with their nervous system rather than against it.
Anxiety & Emotional Overwhelm
Anxiety can show up in many different ways, including racing thoughts, overthinking, perfectionism, self-criticism, difficulty relaxing, or constantly feeling responsible for everyone around you.
Together, we can identify the underlying factors contributing to anxiety while building tools for emotional regulation and self-trust.
Burnout Recovery
Burnout is more than simply being stressed or tired.
Many people experiencing burnout feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, and unable to recharge no matter how much rest they get. Burnout often develops when individuals spend years prioritizing the needs of others while neglecting their own.
Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, establish healthier boundaries, and create a more sustainable way of living.
Attachment, Relationships & Boundaries
Our earliest relationships often shape how we connect with others throughout our lives.
If you struggle with people-pleasing, fear of abandonment, difficulty trusting others, conflict avoidance, or unhealthy relationship patterns, therapy can help you better understand these dynamics and develop healthier ways of relating.
Life Transitions & Identity Exploration
Periods of change can bring uncertainty, grief, and questions about who we are becoming.
Whether you are navigating a career change, relationship transition, loss, personal growth, or a deeper search for meaning, therapy can provide support as you move through life's transitions with greater clarity and confidence.
